Congrats to Jared S

Congrats on your winner in the 1st at Finger Lakes today.
Nice job with Excellent Charisma...paid $9.50.
Though BDR isn't in today, you've shown your ability as a trainer, again.
Keep it up!

congrats to your trainer wayne and im sure hell get BDR to the circle for ya! whos the lady thats listed as owner with you? anyways nice to see your always pulling for your trainer like i do mine and the other owners horses in the barn. my trainers won the last hes saddled, lol but theyve been at churchill and prarie meadows not arlington but hell the moneys green everywhere right:) ? i tease him about things like that but hes only 21 and definately will win more than his share of races here. his win this past week@prarie also marked the first time he brought a horse off a lengthy layoff to win 1st time off the bench. got 1 nominated for the 75k here this coming saturday, would be cool as hell to see him win his first stake at sucha young age

Thanks for the good wishes John,
In answer to your question, who's the lady? She's Sharon P, owner of Harper Hill Farm, where I keep my mares and young ones. She's my partner with BDR.
She broke him. A true horse woman. She works hard, knows her "stuff".
To me, trainers are very important. They work so hard 24/7.

When is DD running again?

thanks for the background on your fellow owner wayne. yes some trainers do work very hard, lol some hardly ever even show to the barn and its the help that basically trains the horses in some stables..if only some of these owners knew what they were paying a day rate on! as far as dan goes im not really sure wayne. we wanted 2 go on the grass the last week of indiana in a nw4l race but hes been comin up a little sore lately mainly due to training on the arlington dirt which isnt very kind on the animals, they are above average this year here as far as breakdowns go unfortunately=( hes been gettin some time off and missing training alotta mornings and if the horse isnt right i dont wanna run him so as of now the best answer i can give is his next race is up in the air. he just walked again today so i dont think were gonna be ready to run at indiana in another 10 days or so

Thanks for the info John.
DD is six, right?
One of my partners, Dee, retired Darbay's Valentine after finally getting a win with him at FL. so, he's coming to the farm where he was born.
It cost Dee a small fortune for that picture in the winner's circle.
He told me that he lost a lot, but wouldn't give up on him. There was an operation for chips...and the bills keep coming!
Man! So many don't even know what a tough game this is!
At least we'll retrain Darbay's Valentine as a hunter. He's a nice one.
And, Makeitright is his full brother....still training on Long Island.
Good luck, John.

John,
I hope DD is going to be good after some time off.
Sometimes, you just need to cut your losses.
PM me if you want me to find a home for him. It's a long way from IL to ny.
The new owner would have to pay the trucking. Sharon's farm rates are reasonable, as are the costs of retraining.
