Unbelievable the way this guy was 3 under in his last 3 holes(was on the cut line after bogeying the 15th.)Quickly made birdie on 16,and eagled the 18th.Short chubster type has some nice game.

Very touching story Scuds. The kid was born 3.5 months premature and weighed 1lb 15 ounces...was 50/50 that he would even live.

Seattleallstar 01-13-2007 09:16 AM

and he bombed it 345

Spoiled hard-headed brat Wie needs some lessons from this kid.

SCUDSBROTHER 01-13-2007 07:38 PM

Kid shot 4 under today. He is 7 under par in a PGA TOURNAMENT GOING INTO SUNDAY(at the age of 16.)Trust me,this is rare.

It's amazing. There is so much that can go wrong on a golf course with a golf swing and this kid is just plugging along. Good for him. Hopefully he will take on the roll of Hawaiian Golf Ambassador and Wie will go where she should have been all along. The LPGA.

Great story for the little guy! Hope he gets better management than Wie!

Aside from Tadd, it's good to see Paul Goydos and CH3 make some noise this week!

guess the new hat line got her off her game. Hopefully, she will go LPGA and give up on this PGA stupidity. Tad is fantastic. I used to root for all the little guys on tour, they had the stats in the golf mags, height, weight , driving distance, etc. Funk, Maggert, Price, Player, Woosie, etc. Tad is in 8th place and is playing great. 5' 1" and 135 lbs, makes me want to get out the sticks. :D

He's 16...hopefully he can grow 4-5 inches in 2yrs and gain 35lbs. Then he can do some damage!

If he can win the Derby I say we're looking at a real Triple Crown canidate. ZDefinately a presser type

A great deal of your better golfers in the history of the game have been what many people consider smaller in stature. They tend to have less moving parts throughout the golf swing.

As opposed to my swing which has 120 separate body moves and 1200 separate thoughts in my head at the same time. Would love to see this kid get it going tonight, and how about the free spirit Fast Times at Ridgemont dude? What a breath of fresh air!

Saw that God awful "swing" on the driving range in Toledo (97 Jamie Farr Classic). Was standing about 20feet away from him and thought I had to duck
