Wish I was there. It's on the list. Got lucky and scored a ticket to the Miami-Dallas game last night. My nose is still bleeding and it wasn't really close but still a great time.

B. with you being the turf racing fan, like myself, Colonial is a must visit. I am finally getting to see my first live racing in a year tomorrow.

P.S. Allen Ferris will be sending out some live ones...

The Terror of Tampa Bay, aka...

The Maestro of the Mount, aka ... now also,

The Colonel of Colonial.

Women at the track.... the true test of a man at the track with his date occurs when her $2 to win on a 2-1 noses him out of a nice win or p-3 score worth hundreds or more. "Clench teeth firmly together, smile and nod head continuously for one hour."

Yeah, Good Doctor, Its a dog track. Its a combination of mutts from the mid atlantic region and they have a bunch of cheap races.

However, the turf track is one of the best in the country and their turf stake program serves as a really nice prep for the arlington million festival.

GPK 06-16-2006 08:38 AM

This could really be interesting tomorrow....although she has already seen how I act when English Channel is running...

You and I are neck and neck of late bro. We both need some time off and I am getting a well deserved rest this weekend.

GPK 06-16-2006 11:12 AM

If anyone is watching Colonial on Saturday and all of a sudden some naked dude comes streaking across the track....will someone please come bail me out of jail???

Gander 06-16-2006 11:14 AM

Gosh, I hope heaven is better than that! I'm sure CD is very nice and fun but I have higher expectations of heaven than that

8 of 9 races on the weeds....heaven indeed Tim.

I will give you a call on my way up there tomorrow bro.

Gander 06-16-2006 11:27 AM

Thanks and I was only busting your chops kid. I love turf racing too!
Wish all racing was done on the turf at Saratoga with the exception of the 6F sprint races like the Forego.
