Didnt he pay like $9.80?

Warren Buffet is known as the " Oracle of Omaha " and that is who the horse is named after. Klaravich Stable, who named him, names many of their horses after terms associated with financial markets.

And I believe the horse is named after Warren Buffett.

Did you have a huge bet on him BTW?
I guess he paid $10 or something like that.

Woke up today, made coffee and got set to watch the replays from Gulfstream on OTB, when I realized they arent allowed to show them right now. So Tamp Bay downs replays come on, uggggh. Not that yesterday at Gulfstream was anything special, but it would have been nice to see what the track looks like.

The Oracle of Omaha, lol! That name makes me giggle.

I think I had to explain what "Read the Footnotes" really meant to about 150 different people.

And we couldn't bet him in New York. What a joke.
