Hope this is still the "pretty horsie" thread place! Some may remember I got this filly this past summer at Thistledown. I just got this race photo of her,,,,she is the dark bay with the pink saddle cloth # 8. Just started riding her and she is awesome! Very athletic (i.e. recently jumped out of a 4 1/2 foot fence) I've had horses for 20 years now. Canagua is my first thoroughbred, and I'm hooked. She is such a sweetheart. I bought her for dressage training but now also plan to use her for endurance and hunter paces. She's a Silver Deputy granddaughter as well! Attachment 226

that's so great...I would give anything to have a picture of my horse in a race...unfortunately they don't usually have a photo for last place:D

Having been to Thistledowns thousands of times I am quite sure your horse is happier with you than at the Big T. Enjoy!

Thanks everyone! Its really been a thrill to own her. I have a room in my house that is dedicated to racing. The walls are covered with framed pix of my favorite racehorses. I have Canagua's race photo hanging there and it is really cool to see her race pix and know that she is MINE!!

Speaking of pix, I just got the photos I ordered of Pine Island. :(
I was wondering how hard it would be to get either Mr. Phipps or Shug to sign one of them for me? I was a HUGE fan and completely devastated when she broke down. Anyone have any ideas how I could attempt to have this done?
