the award for photography...and this year is no different. Very very cool photo...might not be able to say that if the outcome were different, but in this case, since horse and rider were fine it's a great shot.

I contacted Matt Goins to purchase a copy after I saw it in the Courier-Journal. He didn't want to sell to me because he had some irons in the fire. One of them appeared a week or so later as it was published as a two page photo in Sports Illustrated.

Nice enough guy. Happy for him. Happy all involved were okay.

I remember her. I had my last $2 on her and she couildn't stand it.

you'll get no arguement from me there...even though the horse has no desire to run into you it still takes guts to stand in front of one.

That is pretty bootleg. You would think he would want to make some money and get it reprinted and charge you $20 to reprint and ship it to you.
