Twas The Night Before Christmas

Twas The Night Before Christmas in the Derby Trail House
Scuds was complaining that Flores is a louse
The entries on equibase for the next day were bare
A day off for cappers was finally there

The posters were nestled all snug in their beds
While visions of tax tickets danced in their heads
And Steve in his Dentons, replete with a cap
had settled his brain for a short winters nap

When out on the board there rose such a clatter
Steve swore, cursed and screamed NOW WHATS THE MATTER?!!!
Away to the pc he flew like a flash
to see if the libel would cost him some cash

Dixie was on posting though he'd been asked to go
With some other crazed posters who'd been on some blow
When what to Steves bugged out eyes should appear?
Repent was on posting calling some guy a qu eer

How could these whackos be such crazy pr**ks?
Who'd think that the world could be so full of d**ks?
Steve hurried to edit and blank out their aims
They were fighting and calling each other bad names

Now Dixie, Now Pillow
Now Da Hoss and Repent!
On Ziegler! On Ateam!
On Oracle and Hickory!
You guys belong in a cell!!
Behind 4 strong brick walls!
Now go away!! Go away!!
I can't take much more from you all!!

And I heard him proclaim, as he dropped out of sight
Merry Christmas you animals
Could I have just one peaceful night?
