1st SW for Jump Start
 

Just an FYI for the Jump Start fans here:

Copper State won the Pat Whitworth Illinois Debutante today at Hawthorne to become the first SW for her sire..........He's had 21 winners thus far, which absolutely shocks me (even though he was precocious enough to win a Spa stakes as a baby) and has done far better than I thought; Overbrook has been rewarded for their patience with this guy. I'm thrilled he's off the SW schneid; JS may even have a decent 3 year old colt in Sir Whimsey, who just finished 2nd in an allowance race at AQU. His offspring really enjoy stretching out........

This is just the beginning of a success story.:)
