Saturday at Santa Anita was not a bad day for wagering. As a group we cashed 5 tickets and
for the second week in a row had one stellar payout. Three players collected some points and
filled the win place and show slots. Joly B takes the third spot by hitting a pick 3 in races 3, 4
and 5 worth $166 for his $20 wager. Real Quiet takes the place slot with exacta's in races
4 and 6 worth $231. My lead held up until race 9 when NJ Stinks nailed a $50 win bet on a
$20.80 horse. When Tom Horn won NJS was $420 to the good and romped to an easy win.
Congrats on the win Gregg. Nicely played finding a 9-1 $50 single. Following are the unofficial
results pending any objections. Maybe next week we'll get back on the “Derby Trail” with the
Gotham and the Fountain of Youth scheduled. I sure could use the Fountain of Youth. See
