CONTESSA: No More Turf in NY
 

Gary Contessa just told us on ATRAB that not only did they come OTT today at AQU after the jocks rode the 2nd, but that there will be NO MORE turf races at all...

Did you ask him what happened to Hapsburg in the 5th?

A caller did... And Contessa reports that Mr. Hapsburg will be 'sans doodads' next time you see him run... Under the burdizzo tomorrow...

He was brutal. Penn National maybe, he could loose on the lead in a 5f race.

Why not. He ran sans ability today.

Maybe he just had a lung infection. Nothing like inside information from the stable to help you cross out a bad line. Maybe you can bet on him and lose more money which you should be saving to buy a new suit. Then again, I wonder who would win a match race of bad oracle selections, Bad boy rising, or Hapsburg.

I was waiting for you to come back and tell us which one of those horses out of the "great key race" at AQueduct was gonna win today as you promised!!!!
Sadly, neither hit the board.
What happened?

The horse Mike Lerman trains that finished fourth today is the best horse in that race.

I saw the race, and think that the 2nd place finisher is just as good.
Off that layoff and having to deal with that horse who kept impeding him, I'd expect him to win the next time they run if they faced each other.

For the love of God get Chantal off!! That was a terrible ride. You can't win going 6 wide on the inner track!

I disagree strongly. Lerman's horse is the best horse in both races it ran in.

We obviously watch races differently then.
Chantal is a train wreck, I agree, but I judt don't see this horse as having any real punch.

Shame that we aren't get anymore turf racing until April but thats the way it goes.
