Gulfstream Park on Saturday provided some fireworks for our group including the top
score of the year so far. 3 players hit the board and the rest of us shot off duds. Digger
Fiercely held on for the show spot and went home a fin to the good. NJ Stinks took the
second spot with a $50 win wager on First World War. The $7 win price gave NJS a
profit of $75 on the day. However it wasn't enough to hold off the Raging Ruffalo who
steamrolled the field with a $54.60 winner in race 6, Real Macho and wound up $719
on the afternoon. According to Ruff, it's the name, color grey and the sire. Not sure on
the name unless she's a fan of the Village People, Real Macho is a chestnut but the
sire Mucho Macho Man must be on her speed dial. Ruff also played another Mucho
Macho Man offspring in the 9th, Le Dom Bro and he finished second denying Ruff a
plus $1000 day. Congrats on the win Ruff, nice picks and nicely played. When your
hot your hot. Just in passing while looking at the wagers I couldn't help but notice
Joly B's wager. Racing is tough, the Pick 6 is tougher and his picks in race 9 show
you just how difficult this game is. Throw in Fierceness and Noted who didn't run a
lick and you can see what we are up against. You can pick the best horses but if
it's not their day to run nothing matters. Anyway the unofficial results follow. Let me
