FFS This Needs To Stop

Gotta change the TC because we...(checks notes)...had two winners in the last decade... Now Bloodhorse is allowing this nonsense. Shocker Todd and Brad Cox are for it. They don't want to train for the races as they are.

If our horses are so fragile, weird how the overseas interests keep coming in and buying them for their own programs. I mean if they have a problem with the soundness and longevity of American TBs, they got a funny way of showing it.

Instead of focusing on changing the schedule why don't they focus on changing the trainers that get sent the prime classic contenders?

Pletcher has terrible numbers in the classics. He's something like 2 for 65 in the Derby with just 6 other on the board finishes. He's 0-for-10 in the Preakness with one placing. He's 4-for-37 in the Belmont.

With the exception of Palace Malice, I think none of this classic winners ever won another race.

Good news for Forte.

I didn't understand Andy Beyer's argument on Steve's show. They run slower because they have so little experience. They run less because the trainers don't want to start horses early; we have a new lucrative cottage industry; in the past, horses weren't trained to breeze in 10 and be sold. Now there is a tremendous effort not to create a racehorse. Now, there is a focus on achieving a get workout video.
