Not sure what you mean by MTO AE choices?

Perhaps because there are no MTO's. However, both races 4 and 11 are oversubscribed and have also eligibles, since the starting gate will only hold 12. The Equibase entries list them as such.

I'm sure that there could be a couple of horses entered in turf races by canny trainers who are only there with the hope that the race will come off of the turf. Every so often you can spot such a horse while scanning the pp's. They don't have to be classified as "MTO's" to fall into the "I'm really hoping that it rains and the race will come off of the turf because my horse loves the slop" category.

I must say, I was totally befuddled by this card, totally!

Tampa always seems to be a very challenging place to play, for me anyway. Reading other posts on DT and elsewhere there were a couple of comments about it having a "quirky" track surface. I don't imagine any of us did all that well. Maybe we'll do better next week, if someone chooses to return to Fair Grounds, which would seem to be the logical place to play. Risen Star has 14 entries. That should be plenty challenging.:eek:

I would have bet that my post would elicit a response from you ma'am, but I don't see a picture and if it were a thousand words, I probably wouldn't read it unless the words were by Stephen King or John Grisham or maybe Anne Rice.
