ROI Results 10/22 @ Laurel
 

Laurel Park proved quite a challenging card but two players hit the board and 3 tickets were cashed
on the day. It's nice to see the starting gate filled in most races even though Marylands also
eligible list and scratch procedure leaves something to be desired. Zippy hit an exacta but failed
to show a profit. Digger hit the majority of his bets and his cash in Race 11 gave him a nice profit
on the day and second place. Real Quiet gets the win on Maryland Millions Day with a nice score
in the second. My key horse won and a 40-1 horse who I didn't originally play held second despite
getting passed in the stretch. He rerallied and the resulting exacta payed $215.80 for each deuce.
Following are the unofficial results pending any objections. There are only two weeks left in our
year and Don still has a commanding lead over Cal. Both players are assured of having a
winning ROI year. It's pretty impressive to show a profit over an approximately 50 week contest
over a variety of tracks and surfaces. NJ Stinks is also assured of having a profitable year. See

Great score RQ. :tro::$::$: Of course, you are right that I will make a profit this year, but it could be a very small one like somewhere between $5 and $10 and I wouldn't be surprised, if some of our other players passed me in the stretch. Still, for a player, like me that usually finishes a grand or so down, it's been a pretty good year!!
