All points picks and wagers for the card today must be in by 5:09PM ET, scheduled post time for Saratoga Race 10, this should allow enough time to get scratches and chnages for Del Mar.

So let me see if I understand this right. You can watch the first 9 races from Saratoga and if someone hits big you can change your ROI picks before race 10 starts?

I trust that our players have enough integrity to not change their ROI picks after racing starts except on account of scratches and that no one would ever post after the race's post time. But I see your point and am not sure what the best solution is.

Good point RQ. This why split cards are bad. DUH!!!

OK, so here's the rules for today, ROI wagers on either track before the post time of race 10 at Saratoga 5:09ET will not be allowed or accepted.

And no more split cards in the future no matter what Ruffian says and I agree to!!!

Some players have already posted ROI wagers for Saratoga races that are earlier than that. Eclipse and Zippy both chose to do so. They were made in good faith and I recommend that they should be allowed as they stand.

I agree with Joly. Eclipse and Zippy put in wagers in good faith that they would be counted. Now if you say they "don't count" and they won or lost it's unfair to them if they have winners and unfair to the rest of the players if they lost and get a "do over".

On the bright side the back and forth banter has increased at the Call To Post.

I wish I could continue the banter during the races. However, our granddaughters are with us for a few days, and as soon as I post my points and ROI picks, I'll probably disappear to spend some quality time with them.

You make the call on any of the wagers before, after or during, yesterday and even tomorrow :D and I'm not a fan of simple banter, I prefer GOBBLEDEGOOK!
