Eclipse Award & HOY questions

Are the Eclipse award and horse of the year announced at the same time? Or are these seperate events?

Also...when are the Eclipse awards?

Awards are held January 22, 2007 at Beverly Willshire Four Seasons In
Beverly Hills. I think both are announced at the Eclipse Awards

There are several divisions of the Eclipse Awards that award the champions of each division (eg. Juvenile, 3yo, Turf, etc.). The HOY is an Eclipse Award to the best overall and is part of the same award ceremony.
