the "god" of the jockey world as some basically refer to him as and who shouldnt even be allowed on a racetrack is getting his rear end handed to him thus far by garret gomez. i know the colony isnt what it was but im very surprised by the amount of success gryder has had to date out west. if only fogelsonger woulda headed west now as opposed to a few years ago

Name Starts 1st 2nd 3rd Earnings

Martin Garcia 83 15 8 12 $363,276

Aaron T. Gryder 68 13 3 12 $361,680

Garrett K. Gomez 53 12 11 8 $420,960

Victor Espinoza 67 12 9 16 $447,316

Patrick A. Valenzuela 61 9 9 11 $281,852

David Romero Flores 43 9 6 8 $290,348

Martin A. Pedroza 37 8 5 5 $199,120

All the above are having good meets.Gryder, and Flores are having huge meets. As far as Patrick goes,I don't see Antifrizette winning by almost 7 lengths with anyone else riding her.So many guys wish they took that filly for 16k today.Patrick will get his wins.He doesn't get as many good ones to ride as he used to,but I think he will make a run for the jock title at the speed favoring Anita meet. The cushion fits Gomez like a glove.Gunna be hard for him to not ride the Spring /Summer meet at HWD.If Pat shows up for work high, then btch away.Nobody btches about Kennedy getting injected with Amphetamine 30 times (by Dr.Feelgood) while he was President.Probably because he got the job done, and was one hell of a leader.

1st 6-Red Diadem (Gb) $17.00 $5.80 $3.20

Anybody that can hold a tired filly together on that surface is doing o.k.

I have Becrux in my DD with General Group Meeting that just won at 8/1. Hope Pat has his a s s handed to him again today.

1st 6-Gn. Group Meeting $18.40

Gomez wins with a horse that still fits him exactly right.Pat won on the front, and Gomez from the deep.Advantage Gomez( cushion is made for him.)Pat should rule at the Anita Concrete.I love cushion track. The horse who wants it most usually gets it.
