Aqueduct - Race 6

#7 Morning Jewel - Failed as the fav last time out at the Meadowlands, but had a troubled trip and should enjoy the one-turn mile cutback here. McLaughlin and Jara are not a bad combo either. There's plenty to like and the 5-1 ML looks enticing.

Churchill Downs - Race 10

#11 Tactical Joe - Werner sends them out ready to fire at 1st asking (15%). Not crazy about the PP, definitely using. ML 8-1

Interesting you landed on the AQU 6th.. I never got a chance to talk about the Late AQU P4 races last night on the show, but had capped them and the 6th was a fascinating group. A lot of nice 3yo maiden gals here, and Morning Jewel is absolutely one of the 'logicalist'.. But I thought there was a great deal of value EVERYWHERE in this, including the 6 (Pure Fiction/8-1) and 5 (Elsloom/8-1).. The 8 (My Rachel/3-1) is serious too.

One caution with Morning Jewel, who has dropped in price from 12-1, to 7-1, to 4-1 to 3-2 in her 4 career starts, is that her best effort came going 8.5f two turns on the tighter MED oval last time, and she gets a one turn mile at wider, sweeping Big A here. If this race had been last weekend on the Inner Track, I'd be a lot more confident in her in this spot...

Anyway, the late 4 races at AQU are quite good, and there could be a real P4 gem buried in this quartet... I'm writing them up shortly...

Steve, if things follow suit, we just gave out the tri box (5 6 7). Personally, I'm going to single Morning Jewel in the PK4. Graduation time.
