Venue for December 11 . . .

Looks like Fair Grounds may be the only decent option. Typical this time of year. Seven ungraded stakes. Anyone have another suggestion?

Oaklawn or Turfway Park

Don, I'm sure that you noticed that all of the stakes races on Louisiana Champions Day are restricted to Louisiana breds. I think that the generous purses are the result of slots enhancement. However, as you pointed out, the pickings are quite slim.

You are on quite a hot streak!! The way that you are going, the championship will be decided by New Year's.

Oaklawn. At least a few more familiar riders and trainers there and besides it's my hometown track. I'm supposed to do good there and if you believe that let's talk about that bridge over Lake Hamilton. For sale cheap. No big city prices here.

I think I would like to see Don win the whole thing. It would restore my faith in the exotic way of play. Since I've been here the long shot players have dominated. Go Don!

May be the highest points totals for first 3 weeks we've ever had here at Call to the Post. In our 2018-2019 season you had a very similar start and topped 200 points by the first week of January. Not sure why but I seem to hitting on all 8 cyliders and will likely throttle back to the 16 valve 4 cyclinder style I usually display. And I think I'll stay away from Louisiana Champions Day with exellent input from y'all.

Looks more like Oaklawn Park to me. They have Arabians and Quarter horses runnng at Lone Star Park . . . they're always fun!!! :zz:;)

Just a thought, Fairgrounds is my pick, forget about what jockey is riding who, that is where it shows who the top gun is that day with PP's. I know they are not the very top jockeys but each one of them are capable of winning.

Or more likely losing . . . One of the basic staples of the sport . . . horse first then jockey, jockey first then horse??? I prefer the combo but first look at what trainers are there, both well known and locals that have a good barn and win races and or shown up well at the particular track..

If it was all much simpler, we'd all be millonares :$::$::) andthey'd stop running races.

The jury is still out. :) And thanks for the spirited input.
