I hear what you're saying RQ. In a few of the races you could run a pretty good race with just the AE's. So far, the scratches are being posted in drips and drabs, with plenty more to come. I guess that every owner of a Maryland bred wants to run his horse on Million Day.

It's just crazy that a lot of the races only allow less than 10 horses in the gate. It must be a narrow track. If they ran the Derby there they'd have to run in 3 rows. It's kind of bizarre that the conditions limit the entrants to 14 horses and that there are so many ae's

I spilled my coffee while reading your post. Trying to visualize how the last two rows would get through the starting gate.:zz:


EDIT: Now you've got me going - would they have to have a qualifying session ala the Indy 500 to determine who gets to start in the first row?

The scratches just keep coming. At 12:25 they announced a major scratch in race 10 of Whereshetoldmetogo, causing me to once again revise my picks. Out of time for any more, so have to live with what's posted. Good luck to all.

I know they are allowed to do that in Stakes races, but kind of an aggravation and I still don't know which horse Fergal Lynch is riding, the 7 or the 9. :mad:
