Ellis Park

Have to give Ellis credit. In a day and age where many tracks are going to HD, Ellis decided to go in the opposite direction.

It would appear as though they are filming their races with a cell phone, and the cameraman might be dizzy.

yeah but the graphics are real snappy

Obviously they don’t care as the camera work has somehow gotten worse as the meet has gone on.

Just trying to understand why in 2021 something as easy as filming a race is such a challenge.

Steve any chance you can have someone on from Ellis and ask?

Will try to pass along feedback. Don't really know the ELP team since Ron Geary sold, but know people who are close to the new management.

It's bad, especially the annoying switch back and forth from a closeup of the lead horses to the hand held cell phone pan shot that's so far away you can't really see anything. Still not sure if it's as bad as Kentucky Downs though.

Somehow it’s gotten worse. I’m not sure how or why but I’ve never seen races presented worse in my life
