Clearly the game has passed me by, but how was the 3 on a clear lead and the 7 fifth early in the 1st at Belmont?

I thought 2 would be in front slightly with 3 and 7 really close. 2 didn’t fire out and Ortiz took opportunity to capitalize. He’s in a different league then most of these guys

Well I saw the early pace setting up different but the point is the 7 has no business being 5th early. It makes no sense.

I agree. Thought horse would be third at worse

Nearly 50 second half, half the field is ripping their horses face off early and winner goes wire to wire.

Thanks Tom....that runner was 9-2 when I pulled the ticket...I suppose the 6-1 was a gift....I couldnt take the other Maker going as low as he did with Arietta as opposed to Santana on Indy Tourist....and they did it again in the 7th but I had not bet on this race
