If you could bring back one horse.....

If you could bring back one horse within the past 20 years (1986) and entered that horse into a Breeders Cup race, who would that horse be, what race and why?

For me the horse would have to be Arazi, the race would be the Male Juve, and the reason being is because he put on the most impressive Juve race ever and to match that with the 2nd most impressive would be awesome. Plus, Arazi and Street Sense did their performances over the same track.

You might mean Arazi?

Tiznow for his third BCC win! When you're talking BC performances, the conversation has to start with Tiznow!

That would be a good race to see as well.

The one race, a Breeders' Cup race, would be my problem. I want to see Vindication again. It was my hope that he would one day run in the Classic, but he never had the chance to even run as a three-year-old. He reminded me so much of his sire Seattle Slew, my all-time favorite.

Seattle Slew. True Greatness. Speed, Stamina, Durability. Greatness.

Your heading doesn't say 20 years and I was too lazy to read your post (Mr Azeri)

TitanSooner 11-16-2006 01:21 PM

Volponi, of course

Ouija Board in the Turf vs the boys.

Top 10

Afleet Alex.

Spectacular Bid.

Barbaro. There is no doubt in my mind that he would have won the BCC at CD this year.

And Bernardini when he was on his A game.

Lost in the Fog this year.

Sunday Silence so he could do it all over again.

Damascus.

Man O' War.

Native Dancer.

Tiznow so he could do it all over again.

Sorry, I didn't see the 20 years thing until now.

Well, if you don't set limits...Secretariat in the BCC (might also run him in the BCT to warm up), Kincsem is the BCT, and Ribot in the BCT.

I'd bring back Go for Wand... :(

blackthroatedwind 11-16-2006 01:50 PM

I would bring back Afleet, and give him a competent rider, and he would win the BC Sprint like he was supposed to ( and the Met Mile earlier that year ).

Hmmmm.... This is a tough one to answer. I would say Victory Gallop to run in the Classic in his four year old campaign. I soooooo wanted to see that race. I just watched his race with Berahns (However you spell that name). What an awesome kick this horse had. I don't know of another horse with that kind of kick. :)

Oh and MAYBE RH10 to run in the Classic. Just to prove to the doubters that he could run outside of Cali and beat St. Liam. :p :p

kentuckyrosesinmay 11-16-2006 02:23 PM

Pine Island :(

kgar311 11-16-2006 02:31 PM

Archanges (if thats how you spell it) so I could put a couple hundred to win on him this time

eajinabi 11-16-2006 04:42 PM

Candy Ride
