ROI Results 10/17 @ Keeneland
 

Keeneland on Saturday didn't provide our group any big payouts but it did surrender four
winning bets and two players collected the points for showing a profit. No one wagered
on the Santa Anita race in the ROI. Cruzan hit a place bet in race 6 but still lost $25.
NJ Stinks couldn't find an extra nickle nor get a scratch and wound up breaking even.
Plenilune just missed a sweep to go along with her dead heat points win. She played
Thinking in the 7th to win and got a nice $10.00 win price. A $10.20 payout would have
given Plen a double dead heat sweep but that 20 cents gave Real Quiet a win as his
dollar exacta paid the $10.20. Like the Earl Thomas Conley song, "That was a close
one". Not to many others came close although Don Guido picked two nice horses in
his tri array but couldn't seal the deal. And as always a few longshots derailed a few
players arrays. Following are the unofficial results pending any mental miscues by
