Really a shame...and sounds like someone might think it wasn't an accident that this horse died.

It is a shame and I remember watching that horse run. I believe he was by Catienus and that at one time Sal Iorio of Finger Lakes trained him and that he competed at Finger Lakes.
RIP poor thing.

The aasistant that handled him in Iorio's barn used to post on another board that I visit. Poor boy, it's a terrible way to go.

Yeah, I remember him upsetting an allowance race at Finger Lakes at a huge price one time. He came down the center of the track to win it all.
