The Scarlet Knights pull it off!!!

When I put on the game, Louisville just kicked a field goal to go ahead 25-7...after that it was ALL Rutgers!!! The defense was unbelieveable and they showed that a team can come back from being down with good coaching, tough defense and most of all - fans that stick with thier team. This team was the "door mat" of Big East for years. It's great to see the "underdog" come through with a season to remember. That's what sports is all about...teams like the 2006 Rutgers Scarlet Knights! :)

Pretty incredible. If they win out they belong in the National Championship game. If they lose we wind up with another BCS disaster. If only college football had a playoff system I would be such a huge fan.

Lou Holtz should not be in high definition.

Huge victory, but where will it get them in the BCS?

They should move way up in the top 10 for next week, but how far will they go up in the BCS poll? If they beat West Virginia, they should get a BCS game.
People knock Big East Football, but these two teams are as good as the Boise States' or any other non Big Ten/SEC/ACC league team. Let's give the Rugters' and Louisivilles' credit.

Hoping for #8 or 9 next week. May travel to West Viriginia for the final game of the year.

To make a BCS bowl game - you must finish in the top 12, no team with four weeks to go in the season that is between 6 and 12 has made the title game in BCS history. The Trojans, Gators, Longhorns need to get beat and Rutgers needs to finish undefeated. Again, the computer will hold the key.

They can't make the title game, but they can absolutely make a BCS bowl which is what the goal should be. Pretty freaking exciting.

I will be in Lexington that weekend so it's only about 4 hours away...
Not a bad idea...

Are the voters really that stubborn? Are some of them not going to say that we vastly underrated this team and they deserve to move up to Louisville's place in our rankings? If not, that is pretty stupid.

What a great ending to a game. Incredible to see two back to back Thursday night games like we have the last two weeks.
Rutgers would be a sensational story if they could beat West Virginia in West Virginia but........
I'm thinking that the college national champ game is gonna be the winner of the Mich-Ohio St game vs the SEC champ(provided its Auburn or Florida). I think thats the game everyone wants to see anyway.

I think it has to be Florida, Texas is going to win out...if the Gators stumble they go.
And lord, I don't think it's right....but what do you expect from a flawed system

Texas has about zero shot of going if Michigan loses a close game to Ohio ST.
No way will Texas go unless everyone falls apart completely. Fact is that noone wants to see a rematch where a team got their head kicked in on their home turf.
All over the radio yesterday about how if Michigan loses a close game in Columbus that there isn't any way you could vote Texas over them, nor would the compueter rank Texas higher as texas got beat at home, which is just a killer in the whole thing. Notre Dame has no shot either and deservedly so. If you lose at home, you are done, and thats the way it ought to be.

I'm a Michigan fan brother.....but it's not a vote. It all depends on the computer polls really, that's what's killing TX right now and even so they're only .0019 behind Florida. Unfortunately, it's much better to lose early...losing this late and with the season over for the Big 10 it's usually hard to recover.

The only thing hurting Texas right now is their rankings in the human polls.

ND should focus on trying to wrap up the commander in chief trophy.....they got a tough Army squad coming to South Bend....LOL
