December 7 Aqueduct ROI Wagers go here . . .

Yep, this the place to show what you can do with the 100 dollah or as the say in New York . . .foh-ghed-aboud-it and then ghed-oudda-heeyah!!!

Don told us that this is the place to show what you can do with the 100 dollah in New York. In one of his recent droll commentaries, Real Quiet mentioned that I had attempted a very long list of wagers in the ROI competition. However, one that I have not tried is a pick 6, mostly because the ROI bankroll is really too small to structure a ticket that has any realistic chance of hitting. However, since tomorrow is a mandatory payout day for the Empire 6 and the likely pool will be very large, I am spending time this evening putting together a pick 6 that I hope will fit into the "100 dollah" limit and will take a shot, well, just 'cause.

The math that I need to shoehorn this into is a ticket that calls for 1 x 2 x 3 x 4 x 4 x 5 = 480 combinations x $0.20 = $96. That leaves no room for "what if's", but what the hey.

Last night I shot my mouth off about trying the pick 6 in our ROI. On sober reflection (memo to self: taking a breathalizer test before posting on line is a good idea) this is a very difficult thing to do with today's sequence. The number of first time starters in race 7 make that race a guess at best, and both of the 2 year old stakes have an "any of these could win" feeling to them. Still, I guess that I need to put my money where my mouth is, so here is a shot at the big Empire 6 pool:

Race 5:
$0.20 Empire Pick 6
1,4,9 // 3 // 1,10,11,12 // 2,5,10,12 // 1,2,3,4,8 // 5,6 ($96)

Good luck to all and thank you to Real Quiet for scoring.

I can see it now. Joly B hits the Pick 6 for $700,000 and wraps up the ROI for 2019.
