Good luck Gus.

Looking at the rest of the card, I see some value available in Race 6. The #6 Sturgeon is listed as the 2-1 ML favorite and gets Irad aboard so I think we’ll see some money on him. He has been claimed 5 times since August and enters the Delgado barn who wins 29% of races immediately after the claim. But I’m against him as I think this field is very, very close and look at some of the others at higher odds.

The #7 Joyful Heart gets some class relief and first time reporting as a gelding. This horse only has 1 win in 11 starts but finished 3rd behind Opry and Somelikeithotbrown in the G3 With Anticipation after setting the pace and has losses to A Thread of Blue, English Bee, and Bulletin...so I’m not going to hold his record against him. His recent works have been very nice. He’s listed at 10-1.

The #3 Kantharos’ Image started slow and then looked like he was shot out of a cannon, splitting horses down the stretch on his 1st off the layoff last time out. He’s listed at 8-1.

And of course there’s the #4 Zorb who has never run on grass but who has flashed enough early speed and has enough turf pedigree where it wouldn’t be a total shock if he ran well. Looks like the connections had previously tried to get him on the turf. He’s listed at 10-1.

Nice analysis. Good luck Moses. #3 Kantharos' Image figures to sit a nice stalk and pounce trip.

Feeling like gambling so I’m going to try for the Pick 3 here.

$1 1,3,4 / 5 / 3,4,7

I think this will be a tougher bunch here...but he should definitely have plenty of pace to close on. Could be really nice value.

Gus - you’ve been nailing some of these nice running longshots. Summer spice went off 20-1 and finished 2nd. Tenacity Zip was bet down from 10-1 to 5-1 and won. Trappe Me Later just went off at 80-1 and ran 3rd.

Going to end up betting Zorb and will probably regret it as he looks a little more like a router than a sprinter to me...but 8 of his 9 starts are under a mile and I’m just hoping he likes the grass. 10-1? Let’s roll the dice.

Thanks, Moses - couldn't connect the dots, but there's plenty of value with these deep fields.
