He Gone

SANTORUM finally gotten rid of(like a nagging cold.).......That was an 18 point a$$ whippin' that he deserved. Gee, an extreme right winger in a Blue State. How long was that gunna work?

George Allen is behind by a couple thousand in Virginia(recount etc. pending.)That could get real ugly.Needless to say,Allen's people are capable of doing anything to skew that one.Hopefully control of the senate doesn't depend on that race in Virginia.I can't think of any thing much worse than a recount involving George Allen and his gang of Banjo Trash.

dems need Va and Montana to get control. i see a drawn out battle in the old dominion state.

Montana was a lot closer(about 1700 in favor of the Dem. after 100% precincts counted...gunna recount Yellowstone County... LOL) In Virginia Allen is roughly 7k behind.Unless you hear differently, the Senate, and House are both controlled by the Dems.,and maybe something will get done. His "Iraq thing" finally got him in trouble.Well, some of it was the Abramov thing(I think that Conrad Burns in Montana got burned by his part in that.)Dems. will get thrown out quickly unless they get to the center. It was mainly an anti Iraq election(60% of independents voted Democratic....very rare.) Wouldn't have taken much to avoid this, but the guy is stubborn as it gets. You should have heard that Lynn Cheney last week.Lady is living in a dreamworld. She didn't think there was any way that her party would lose either the House or the Senate.Blamed the media for every little freckle on her a$$.

Hey, hey, hey-- I'm a New Yorker now, but I grew up in PA, and lemme tell you, they aren't red or blue; they're a bunch of ornery, contradictory, don't you tell me who I should vote for grumps... and I'm so proud to have grown up among them. Tee hee. I'm just surprised it took them this long to smell the crazy on Santorum.

senate at the moment is 50-50...waiting on virginia. BUT, if the dems win va, to make it 51-49..but really 49-49, with two independents (but both lean democrat).
a split govt, and now rummy is leaving. wonder what would have happened had he left BEFORE the election....
