Haskell Challenge Contest
 

On another thread, Cal mentioned that he will be playing in the Haskell Challenge this Saturday. That means I'll be playing for second place :), but will still be plugging away.

For those of you who haven't participated in the past, you need to make a single $2 WPS pick for each race on the Haskell Day card, with the goal to achieve the largest bankroll. All picks must be submitted by 11:30 AM with the first post at 12:00 Noon.

In the past there have been many participants, most of whom have been playing Survival At the Shore. As such, I think that to get into any prize positions you need to hit any top price plays that occur. Bear in mind there is no odds cap.

Have you tried to sign in on the Haskell Challenge website? I tried my password from last year, but nothing happened. So don't know whether it is just not working or whether the administrators are not letting anybody sign in yet?

I've had no trouble signing in. I'm playing in the current Survival At the Shore and used the same sign in information.

There is no contest information available yet, and the rules are a mixture of 2018 and 2019 dates. I think that entries for Haskell day are being drawn later today, so additional information should be available very soon.

I did and then they ask you for your email address and I gave that to them. Instructions were that they would send me a link to reset my password, but I haven't received anything from them. May have to just sign up for a new account.

Good news, I think. They finally let me reset my password. Now I keep thinking that Monmouth is going to cancel after all my handicapping.:zz:, but that's ok. Can't think in selfish terms when people and animals lives are on the line. Good luck to everyone tomorrow, if they do go. I will try to get back here and post my picks. Looks like a bunch of chalk to me and from playing this in the past, I know that is wrong. Always a bunch of big longshots on Haskell day.
