Official Suck Up Thread

Since, apparantly, this is the morning of " Golly Gee Willikers, So-and-So is just Peachy Keen Great " I thought it would be much easier to just have one thread and fill it with nauseatingly insincere accolades.

On that note, I would like to thank a few kind souls as well. First, there's Carole Stevens, who after making me wait eight minutes for my Ham and Cheese Sandwich failed to give me even one potato chip. Then, there was Harry Jones the mutual clerk, who paid me $623 in 20s. But, finally, there was Bill Kenyon, who made up for all the rest when he replaced the paper roll in the second floor Men's room. Much thanks to that fine, and ( of course ) classy, gentleman, as without him I couldn't dry myself off after Levon Stills pissed on me at the trough.

Carry on.

I'd like to thank Jesus for all those times he's been there for me. He's a top notch guy regardless of what Hank Goldberg says.

Hes Against Jesus?

Goldberg Hates Jesus Too? No Wonder He Has No Devine Handicapping Gems!

My thanks go out to the stewards, who DQ'd me into a trifecta in the Distaff. Your checks are not in the mail.

Yeah John Veitch is an even better steward than he was a trainer in my opinion. He can do no wrong in this corner!!!!

Wow. Inspirational stuff.

good idea andy...I would like to thank the guy who launders my horse blankets. Even though he charges $50 per blanket he does a really nice job removing the hair and dirt and then wraps them up really pretty when he returns them.
I would also like to that the idiot who told me where I have to go to vote today for being wrong and then the nice woman who gave me incorrect directions to the actual voting location.

I got directions at least 6 times in Kentucky and not once were they right. I'm wondering if they saw the Ny Plates and decided to send the New Yorker on a wild goose chase just for kicks.

High level stuff....

I am thankful for:

1. You filling us all in on Sense of Style 72 hours later. Would have been rather disappointing otherwise.

2. Andy Beyer needing only to go 2-deep in the FM Turf to find Ouija Board, his only winner from his pre-Cup column.

I am not sure how I feel right now about Levon Stills.

Shout out to the DHL lady for just delivering my JETS @ Miami tickets for Christmas night! X-mas in South Beach baby!

Shout out to the only horse that allowed me to cash a flipping ticket at Churchill - Miesque's Approval at juicy odds

Sense of Style? I think she retired a year ago....and frankly....for that I'm thankful.

A simple perusal of my posts would find my thoughts on Street Sense after the Keeneland race. But, of course, that would require an IQ over 60.

If you had Sirius Radio you could have heard me pick him on Friday ( along with Round Pond and others ). As unfortunately you are, apparently, able to log on to a computer, you should have been able to listen on the ATRAB website, but that would have required being able to tell time. Strike two.

Finally, if you had DirectTV you could have watched the TV show I did where I selected him well before the race. But, that would have required being able to count into three digits as the show was on Channel 626.

Strike three.

The first teller we went to at 10:30 am on Saturday at Churhcill did not know what a Pick 3 was, had to get her boss, punched it up wrong twice, did not know how to cancel a ticket and finally had to have someone else punch it in for her. I am thankul for the old gray haired guy teller at the $50 minumum window.
