It looked like the 4 hoss broke a length in front of the field. On the pan shot it seemed obvious that his gate opened before the others. Not so much on the head on . Rich on TVG said on a hot mic 🎙 that he would be declared a non starter after running second. There was no action taken . Anybody else see it ?

Was there an inquiry ? Or since he ended up dropping back to last by many, did they figure it didn’t effect the race ?
