Weather at Gulfstream

Raining.
Wind is WSW at a big 4 mph.
That's all they are telling me so far.

You need to put raining in all caps. Expect rain most of the day. Both the GP Turf Sprint and the Ladies Turf Sprint are OFF of the turf. More to follow. While the rematch of World of Trouble and Stormy Liberal still exists, it loses much of its luster when they aren't running on their preferred surfaces.

CORRECTION: 10:27 AM - Stormy Liberal out of Race 3. So much for that match up.

Another change.
In R10, Hunter O'Riley must have been a little difficult to keep focused on his work. First time as gelding.

More changes...

Dirt muddy
Turf good

Races 3 and 5 are off turf.

R3) scratch 2, 3, 6
R5) scratch 1, 2, 3, 5, 10
R6) scratch 13, 15, 16
R7) #1, jockey change to F Prat
R9) scratch 1, 5
R10) scratch 1, 11, 13

Subject to change, a brief check may help.

You guys don't know how lucky you are.
I still don't know if I will see a race at all today. My NBC station is showing a bunch of very drunk lawyers, drs and accountants falling off of floats trying to throw strings of beads down cleavage. Today had to be the day of Tampa's wannabee Mardi Gras, Gasparilla. If I get lucky, they may have fallen off enough ugly floats and been rushed to enough hospitals by the time of race 12. They pretend to be pirates. One float caught my eye. It's a flat-bed truck, dressed up in grey camo paint, with multi-colored ladies' backpacks and handbags. What that has to do with a pretend pirate invasion in the early 1800's I have no clue.

The Gulfstream live feed on my computer works just fine, with almost no commercials.

It would not help my handicapping. I might go back to putting the pp's on a dartboard. Probably do better.
