Thursday Aqueduct Race 8

We have the lock of the year and complete and total toss out.... In the same race. Guess.....

Alabama Stakes 01-21-2019 09:26 PM

Your lock must be the bottom hoss Pletcher guy.
Your throwout must be the Chad Brown hoss Solent.

Payntersbynubers. Will wire the field though
1-2-3 it’s as easy as learning your a-b-c’s.

I'll have to look at the race again to see who you like, but I'm reasonably sure you are tossing Paynterbynumbers ( which I would tend to agree with, though I suppose he can win ).

Complete toss at likely under 2-1. I guess this thread answers the question of who are the people that bet horses like that.
I like Chad's horse.

I find the race very difficult, and while I would never bet Paynterbynumbers, I guess she could win by default. What is so good about Solent? Are you confident she is going to break this time? It's not like Sightseek has been a particularly effective producer.

I did say lock of the year, and we are only 22 days in. But seriously i think the 5 and maybe the 1 to some extent will run the 4 into the ground. Even without that other speed the 4 has been a huge disappointment. Solent feels like the right horse to me. Unless you want the Todd/Repole. I am considering using as a B.

Stuff like ths makes her a bigger toss.

I found it a puzzling race and it's actually the only race on the card that, as of now, I don't have definitive picks for.

I am not betting the pik 5 I rarely do but if I was I would never toss Paytnerbythenumbers. Since you think she is useless, I will bet a few bucks, and I mean a few on Joyful Frolic, I like Gargan and he didn't drop her in for a tag YET so maybe that is a good sign. Obviously, it's a flyer

Who do we like in the 6th? I liked Beachside last time and I'm still deciding if I've seen enough of him.

Lock of the year seems like bold move on a race like this. The horse can win but so can a few of these. I think Pletcher's horse will be ready to run. Also I wouldnt leave Cariba or Stonewalker off my ticket. I'm interested to see how the pace goes and need to look into it more as race later this week.

I prefer Beachside over the entry. The rest look up against it.

So your lock of the year is a hoss who broke slowly with no mishap , and then staggered home for second ? The trailers almost went by him at the eight pole. After reviewing the replays, Cariba is a lugging in throw out. The rest have had no run. The interesting guy is the laurel shipper who was trying to close into a very slow pace when he got knocked around pretty good after he started to rally. He got a good education in that race and I like the confidence shown by shipping to Aqueduct for a nice purse.
4 -7-9 box.
i really like 2 big longshots on the Thursday card if the rain doesn’t cause a cancellation.

Race 3 The 4 hoss ran pretty fast last halfs in fast races. He has a huge shot.
Race 5 The 3 hoss form in races when he did not break from the rail is actually pretty good. The 5 times he broke from the inside he ran lousy. He’s coming off the rail here.
