ROI Results 1/19 @ the Fairgrounds

At the Fairgrounds on Saturday 4 players cashed tickets but only one could show a profit.
Cruzan, Cal and Don had winners that paid in the $74 to $88 range but none of them
could show a profit nor catch that elusive second winning bet. This weeks winner broke
out of an 0-32 slump to start the season and is no longer a 2019 maiden. Ruffian gets her
first win of the season at one of her favorite tracks, the Fairgrounds, by being long on
skill picking Long On Luck in the 4th returning to her $246 +. Nice going Ruffian and
nicely playedf at the Fairgrounds. You streak of seconditis has ended and it's nice to
see you back in the winners circle. Following are the Fairground results pending an
official missing a clear cut case of (pass) interference. Please notify me of any errors and
they will be corrected not swept under the rug like the NFL is prone to do. See you all
next week at Gulfstream Park for the Pegasus card unless Mother Nature throws us a
clear cut weather curveball. As an added note I do know Fairgrounds is two words but
if I can ever Ruffle Ruffials feathers I am all in <grin>. Boy oh boy....do I miss Kam Loops.

And here I thought Kamloops was only known for world class thoroughbred horse racing.

I am thinking about a trip to Vegas in March or April. Based on my play in this contest, I think my chances of returning home a winner are slim and none, but then again, I usually hit a little something so maybe I won't lose much, but then I guess, the whole point of vacation is to have somebody else making the beds and cooking the food, etc. so maybe I'll be a winner after all. Life is all about perspective.:D

{ FAIR GROUNDS = 2 WORDS }

It's only 2 words to the hopelessly Obsessive Compulsive among us.:rolleyes: Sorry ma'am, I know that this was an unforgivable faux pas. I too can be a bit OCD, at times and I sometimes wince when I see these mistakes. I saw one yesterday in which a person said something to the effect that a trainer had "a good lucking maiden winner." Surely everyone knows that it should be good "luking." :zz::)
