The feature race will be the Cotton Fitzsimmons Mile. For those like me who wondered about the race's namesake, Mr. Fitzsimmons was a long time basketball coach, first in the college ranks, and then for many years in the NBA. He coached the Phoenix Suns on three different occasions.
