Discreet Cat

Monster. Discuss.

The best horse in the world is DC. No doubt in my mind.

IrishofNDMan 11-04-2006 04:46 PM

INVASOR! How can you not go with Invasor after that performance?

randallscott35 11-04-2006 04:47 PM

He beat the snot out of him in Dubai.

Very suspect race.

Invasor is a totally new horse right now, but I agree that Discreet Cat might be as well. I think we need another race with the 2 to settle this once and for all.

What was suspect about it? Are you nuts.

IrishofNDMan 11-04-2006 04:50 PM

Discreet Cat was juiced, that is suspect!

packerbacker7964 11-04-2006 04:51 PM

I bet they wished they'd ran Cat now.

To amplify: The trainer of the top betting choices, both daylight stakes winners earlier in the meet, was so suspicious of the way his pair ran that he had them drug-tested on his own dime. Both turned up with Valium in the blood. Invasor was not tested. But the second finisher was a horse called Testimony, another of the Godolphin horses, who has stunk up the place after being imported to the US.

randallscott35 11-04-2006 05:02 PM

So how about his numbers since he came to the U.S...what exactly was he on there?

Pedigree Ann 11-04-2006 05:03 PM

He hasn't been facing multiple classic winners here, now has he?

You will know when you see a monster horse, one who takes your breath away and one you know will win and then actually goes out and does it.
There are NO monsters in horse racing today. Not even Invasor. He just happens to be the current world champion having dusted the most recent "Monster" of the sport.

randallscott35 11-04-2006 05:09 PM

Pedigree,

no he hasn't. This is going by the numbers. And his Thoros as a 3 yr old have been better than Bernie. So whatever.
