I am so excited about today... and this is my 100th post!

I have to go with Anna in this one and am leaning towards Octave below her... anyone have any recomendation for the show spot for my tri?

good luck everyone, but most especially to all the horses.

and loved seeing personal ensigns race again. maybe a PE impression by pine island this afternoon.

let's get thru the two baby races peeps, i'm ready to see ouija board!

Pedigree Ann 11-04-2006 11:38 AM

Hope you had the exacta at least. Good call.

DerbyCat 11-04-2006 11:41 AM

I did get the exacta... but I wish I would have seen S2S and Danzig's recommendations on Cotton Blossom sooner... I used the 3,9,10 for the bottom of my tri... oh well, $50.80 is good enough :D

Danzig 11-04-2006 12:05 PM

i like c p west here.
but great hunter at 6-1, king of the roxie at 14. both worth a look.
cq ran here, and well, in the past. i would use him under those.

Vegas, here I come! Actually, I have to get a bit more to get up to third, but this will make it possible. Good old Calvin Bo-Rail!

Sort of wish I had bet on him, but would probably have jinxed him if I did.

Ann, you are on fire! So far, our selections have been similar... were you going on pedigree in your selections?

Danzig 11-04-2006 12:21 PM

looks like principal secret had a breathing problem...bled or entrapped is my guess, he just suddenly backed up thru the field and was eased.

Inbreeding to Natalma and/or Cosmah is a great cross. As good as using the mares in the 'Footware' family (Rough SHod II, Thong, etc.)

Somewhat. After looking at the PPs and checking horses whose performance I thought were acceptable, I then looked at the peds to verify that my choices weren't sprint-bred.
