ROI Results 7/21 @ Del Mar

Del Mar provided some good racing and while 4 players tabbed winners only two could crack the
break even point and collect the points. While Ruffian was not one of those with a winner one of
her picks finished second at 48-1 in a nice effort.NJ Stinks and Cruzan both had winning tickets
but not enough to get over the break even point. Joly B takes home the points associated with
a second place finish as one of his exacta's came in the first race and he got a $122 return.
There is a "New Kid on the Block" and joining the winners circle for the first time is Banter.
She waited patiently behind Joly B's early speed and zoomed on by in race 6 as Tammy's
Widow won at almost 11-1. Banter collected $297 for the win and easily took our first contest
at Del Mar in 2018. Congrats on the win Banter. Nicely played and kudos to the other players
who cashed winning tickets. Following are the unofficial results pending any objections. See
you all next week wherever Joly B's venue is. 11 players this week. Almost a full house. Sweet.

RQ, I'll try to choose a venue that our players will find to be Jim Dandy.

I am certain whatever venue you choose will be a grand slam event.

Not Banter! (Just kidding, of course! Way to go, Banter! :tro:)

Not for nothing but Corey Nakatani had my pick at least 4 or 5 wide around every turn in the last race. Wouldn't have beaten Banter if the #9 won but it sure would have helped my TVG account. :(

Wow! Very happy-making. It's been a while. But as the saying goes, even a broken clock is right twice a day. :) :)
