Santa Anita's tidy 9 race card proved tough as only 3 winning wagers were recorded. 2 players
made enough cash to show a profit and take home the points. Plenilune had a win bet in race 5
which payed $6.40 but left her just shy of a profit. In race 9 Plen had a double digit longshot
which finished a non threatening 2nd and Ruffian had a longer one finish 3rd but that's as close
as anyone came to the two winners on the day. It was a Dog Day Afternoon for Don as Sophie
P. won and paid $30 in the 8th and gave DG a profit of $80 and second place. Joly B gets the
Santa Anita win via the exacta route in race 5. JB keyed a few exacta's one of which paid a
sweet $11.70 for each buck and he played it 17 times. Congrats on the win Joly. Nicely
