Race 7 Aqu DQ

What a joke. Let's hear from all the NYRA steward defenders here. Grazes the hoss outside of him twice and gets taken down . Interesting that the hoss they put up was the big fave in the pick 3 for some reason. 5-1 morning line but paying 198 vs 283 for second choice. Daily double action was much more in line with the norm.

knickslions2 04-18-2018 06:13 PM

Ya looked like a crappy dq there.

I used 6,7,8. The play was beating the 4 off the layoff and very suspicious drop.
The 7 up was better for me, but even i realize this was an easy call. He drifted sharply.
Again you are mad about $2 for admission at Saratoga so you NYRA bash, oh and you hate Andy. Its odd how you think. A guy on the internet bashing NYRA is going to affect him?

Alabama Stakes 04-18-2018 07:56 PM

I don’t hate Andy or anyone else. I don’t root against people either , even you. It was a bad takedown with minute contact . Irad Ortiz bumps hosses harder than that every race.

Stopchargingmaria did not approve of this DQ at all.

You think it was a bad dq? Seemed clear cut to me.

He's whining because I picked the horse that was put up. He and his internet lovers spend their days obsessing over me. It's actually sort of adorable. They are like the little kids in the sandbox that push the girls they have crushes on.

All because I didn't have the time to get him Phish tickets a few hours before a show on Whitney Saturday in Saratoga ten years ago while I was working. It's so sad.

Alabama Stakes 04-18-2018 10:28 PM

Not true. Plain and simple. Like I really knew who you picked in that race. And why would I care if you got put up ?
Tickets to phish at spac ? Capacity...unlimited. That’s total bullshit and you know it.

I don't think it was bad.

Most everyone would just be happy with consistency.. It is easier to stomach getting DQ'd out of a cash when you see other horses get DQ'd for the same thing in races where you didn't cash....

I agree with this. Feels like this same thing could happen today and be left up.

This is what I was trying to say the first time basically.

Just admit it you have no juice at SPAC! And you weren't working the Whitney that day you were listening to Whitney and didn't want to be disturbed, so selfish. Facts matter.

It happens everyday. If it was anyone else saying it was a bad DQ, you would be agreeing with them. If Byk said it was a bad takedown.... oh yes Mr Byk you so right . How could they take him down ?
I said the same thing about the cali stewards when they ridiculously took your buddy baffert down in that grade one the other Day for no reason. Remember?

I was no where near Saratoga that weekend, nor did I go to phish that weekend or any time that summer as Phish had too, jumped the shark by then.

You know I remember a day I was in NJ, hours away from SPA, I called BTW asked him for tickets because IF he had them, I would drive up. He couldn't help me out, he sucks, gave me some BS answer. I hate him also. I miss the tracking Andy Serling guys on twitter they put him in his place daily. NYRA Beyer Crist Byk etc. are WRONG what racing needs is Freddy Mo getting folks tickets and giving out horses. Obviously, I am not available after 5 pm for night racing.

There should be a rule... Baffert should never be taken down. Ever. He's earned it.

Alabama Stakes 04-19-2018 10:56 AM

Sorry that was a grade II, the San Felipe. Baffert hoss never should have come down.

He couldn't get you out of jail if your term was up. If you need tickets, you would ask Sean, especially if he owes you a solid.

Looked like the right call to me.
