I've been reading he passed away. So very tragic. Peace be with his family and friends.

Very sad . . . it can be a brutal sport. Looks like he had a great career his family can be very proud of and he's passed some of himself onto many other jockeys for their good. Obviously he was much more than just a very good jockey.

He died today at approx. 12:45 pm after being removed from life support,
