SUN - Belmont & Keeneland Late PK4 Action

Belmont Park

POST SCRATCHES - GOOD / FIRM

R6 - NYB OC 40k/N2X (Turf 8.5F)

#10 Samadi Sky (20-1) - Don't discount chances for the son of Sky Mesa on the Turf for the 1st time. The barn has already sent out a BOMB 1st time on the turf. Expect price to come down. 3RD
#1 Broken Engagement (5-1) - Both wins have come on off the turf events, but the son of Scat Daddy could prove best on the lawn.
#5 Startup Nation (3-1) - Has been knocking on the door at this level and today could be the day. Underlay possibility. 4TH
#3 Yummy Bear (6-1) - Draws well and should be within close range of projected pace setter #2 Blue Belt as they turn for home.

R7 - G1 Frizette

#4 Separationofpowers (9-5) - Finally gets off the rail after getting in a pace duel in G1 Spinaway at odds on and tiring late. There are other speed types here and J Ortiz will probably take back some today and unleash a late rally. WON $5.90
#1 Maya Malibu (4-1) - Castellano hopped off as they were getting in the gate in G1 Spinaway and she broke a step slow. She closed well up the rail and the added distance only adds to appeal. 3RD
#10 Critique (6-1) - Anytime a 2yr old wins by 16 lengths at Saratoga it should be noted, but it was in a off the turf 5 horse field. Pletcher/Johnny V will take plenty of attention at the windows, but will have a tough assignment getting by top 2.
#5 Drama Run (10-1) - Earned a big fig in debut (83BSF) at Arlington (Poly) and seems she was privately purchased. Interesting to see how she'll fair.

R8 - G1 Flower Bowl (Turf 10F)

#1 Grand Jete (GB) (9-5) - Unlucky not to win G1 Beverly D at Arlington in most recent and she's in career form . Expecting a huge run off a freshening. 3RD
#4 Zhukova (Ire) (2-1) - Easily beat male counterparts in the G1 Man O'War in the spring for world renown conditioner. Hard to imagine her not producing a winning effort in this spot. She'll probably prefer some cut in the ground.
#2 War Flag (8-1) - She's in solid form for Shug and offers value in this salty rendition of this fall staple. It seems that she hasn't reached her ceiling yet. WON $21.20
#3 Dacita (Chi) - You know this is a tough field when the G1 Beverly D winner is your 4th choice. She'll had a brilliant career and will need to bring her best again versus this deep field. 2ND

R9 - Md 40k (Turf 8F)

#2 Polar City (6-1) - Rice winning at a High % 1st off the claim and rates a long look for win honors.
#11 Prognostication (3-1) - Has burned some cash recently versus similar and has run well from outside draws. WON $7.00
#4 Street Code (10-1) - Tricky read on $400k purchase making debut for a tag for top connections.
#6 Cookie Crisp (6-1) - Returns to the lawn where he just missed recently against this caliber at Saratoga.

PK4 - 1 3 5 10 / 4 / 1 4 / 1 2 4 6 9 10 11 = $28 for $.50

Keeneland

POST SCRATCHES - SLOPPY / OFF TURF

R7 - MSW 65k

#5 Mia Mischief (1-1) - She got caught late in debut as the chalk by a very nice filly in Princess Warrior, who finished 2nd in G1 Alcibiades on Friday. WON $3.00
#4 Lou's Chardonnay (10-1) - Decent at first asking and eligible to move up in 2nd start.
#12 Riesling (12-1) - Barn does well with youngters and we know Paco will send from outside post. 3RD
#3 Fonda Romana (8-1) - Improved in 2nd start and draws much better today. 4TH

R8 - G3 Dixiana Bourbon (OFF Turf 8.5F)

#14 Arawak (10-1) - Already a world traveler and his most recent effort sets him up well here. Santana must workout a trip from parking lot draw.
#3 Tap Daddy (4-1) - Well bred colt handled a full field at Kentucky Downs and has tremendous upside. 2ND
#9 Captivating Moon (5-1) - Decided on this spot opposed to Breeders Futurity yesterday and is a strong contender for top Chicago connections.
#2 Fred'stwirlincandy (15-1) - Has improved with every start and could prove tough to reel in late at a juicy price.

R9 - G1 Spinster

#1 Martini Glass (12-1) - Came within a length of Champion filly Songbird and lost to another nice filly last time on dirt. Great value. 2ND
#5 Tiger Moth (6-1) - She's had a very nice year facing the upper level of the division and her closing style will help her chances.
#8 Bar of Gold (7-2) - Consistent NY bred has held her own and could be primed for a Grade 1 victory. Expect a stalking trip.
#6 Lockdown (3-1) - 3yr old faces elders for first time, but she's definitely the wildcard of the bunch and has to be considered for all slots. 4TH

R10 - MSW 65k (OFF Turf 9.5F)

#3 Runningwiththewind (15-1) - Nothing wrong with debut effort and the stretch out should be right in her wheelhouse. 3RD
#4 Reprove (9-2) - Both starts are solid and Geroux should secure a cozy inside trip. 4TH
#6 Iconic (3-1) - Seems like she's stuck in 2nd gear, but that last bullet work could of woke her up for Romans. WON $6.20

PK4 - 5 / 2 3 9 13 14 / 1 5 6 8 / 3 4 5 6 = $40 for $.50

Good Racing Luck

Supposed to be muddy there today. Do these picks reflect that possibility? I like how you refer to Songbird as champion filly. Nice job

Yes, I will adjust if they are off the turf. Hoping they stay on the turf.
