Anyone use Airbnb, etc. for Saratoga lodging?

Wondering if anyone has had any luck with airbnb, vrbo, etc. for lodging for Saratoga. Looking to come up for Travers week or the week before (probably 3 or 4 nights, a Wed-Sunday).

I came up for Pharaoh in 2015 and ended up renting a townhouse from some random lady that I met at AP's workout (not a redboard, she was going out of town!)

Thanks in advance for any advice/help.

Crowd was not ridiculous for American pharaoh considering a triple crown winner

They handle the crowds just fine..have done Travers 3-4 times now and its always been easy to navigate

To clarify, I was wondering if anyone has used any of these sites to secure lodging, as opposed to hotels, motels, etc....thanks!

Sorry my bad. I didn't get to Finnish the part about the air b n b and hit post in error.

I did, but it was like 10 years ago before AirBnB, VRBO, etc.

I think I used this site:

http://www.trackrental.com/index.html

Rented a carriage house off Union (I forget the actual street) for the week. Not a problem, other than is was advertised as walking distance to the track, which in reality turned out to be like 2 and a half miles away.

It was clean and very well kept, and the owners were in the main house if there was ever an issue. I'd recommend it.

LOL, thanks for the confirmation :)

Did it two years back and while it's not feasible to get something downtown at this point, we were able to find something a 5-10 minute drive from the track. Just don't go trying to open the wrong house like we did.
