Aren't there some people in the know around this joint that should be doing the reporting on this?? I'm just a washed up, harness handicapping legend. I shouldn't be required to do this kinda work around here.

Who is in charge around here and why are the inmates running the asylum???

Well everyone knows that Tom's Ready is already locked into the runner up slot.

he was fun...will be missed. wouldn't be surprised to see NBC scoop him up to work alongside Johnny Weir. Imagine that team lol

Retired on Big Red's birthday, I figure he comes out of retirement on Seattle Slews

His ride on mind that bird was the best ride ever given to a race hoss. The view from the blimp is dynamite

I did not see any reason why he hung it up. Anyone know why?

Painfully apparent that Bethani is no longer in charge around here.

no one seems to know.
maybe just tired of it all?
hope all is well with him, and wish him a happy and healthy retirement.

I was recently informed (on facebook, oh boy) that Mine That Bird's Derby win was likely the result of Calvin carrying a buzzer. :D

Happy retirement, Calvin.

Sad that a rumor like that is going public and trying to ruin his reputation. What about the other 2 derby horses and Rachel? Did he buzz those horses to get wins too? Did he have a history of cheating before?

Thats not a good thing to say unless you have some evidence of it. .... and I really doubt that a "buzzer" makes a horse run faster anyway.

You doubt that a "buzzer" can make a horse run faster?
