Personally I can't stand when bris puts me 23k behind. I always preferred drf, especially since I get it for free. Good luck though. I like Rick V horse today at Aqueduct, race 7.

Lt1 12-17-2015 09:47 AM

I know of no pps that put a user 20k in the hole. That hole is strictly on the user. We all look at the same info so why do some win and others lose on a consistent basis. I think a reality check might be in order.

Maybe he needs to start playing 5 horses a race.

The last time I looked the objective of wagering on horses was to make a profit. All investors in this game have developed their own method of play with which they hope to reach this goal. It matters not whether one strictly plays win or engages exotic or serial bets as long as the investment is small and the return is greater. One must check their ego at the door. It matters not if ones top selection or 3rd selection wins as long as a profit is turned on ones investment. With that being said I wish us all good skill profitable wagers.

I really have no issue with different types of strategy. My issue really is what you say your suggested plays are. To me that means you are encouraging other people to play your picks, using your strategy.

By my count, that's $777 dollars worth of bets. Thats really not a small investment.

50 CENT TRIS BOX ALL 5 COST $30
50 CENT P3S USE TOP 4 EACH LEG COST $32

Good Luck

But at the end of the day. You only bet $400 and there are win prices all over the place with your first, pick second pick and so on. But I don't see any suggested win bets. Not to mention there are races that are now passed on, that were suggested that you use in rolling doubles and pick 3's.

It just all seems a bit disingenuous to me.

I lurk a lot here and I know there a some excellent handicappers here, starting with the guy who runs the show.
He gives out 4 options in some races, but there's a story and a format with it. The guy really does a tremendous job posting information.
Then some of the other guys that play in the playalong threads are very good too. Lot's of times they give insights on horses which go a hell of a lot farther then listing 5 horses win a race with a prospective betting menu.
Guys like JMS, ATeamstupid, Pointman, Knickslions, Jimmy Ellis, Benny and even that RHT guy (who no one seems to like) take the time to post real time picks and real time plays as opposed to the strategy of throwing 5 horses into every bet under the sun every race.

Even that Lonestar fella, while I disagree with some of his strategy, he puts it out there for the world to see, good and bad. Unfortunately most has been bad, but I'm rootin for that bastard to make some hell of a comeback.

I dont wish bad on anyone supporting this great game of ours and I wish you luck with your wagers. This is just my 2 cents.

Hi Rafi. First let me thank you for taking the time to post your well thought out views. I wasn't trying to mislead anyone by using the term suggested play but was trying to show how I would bet the different types of bets available for that race. I had been asked to clarify my wagering process on the races I would play. Apparently I did a lousy job and will correct that in the future. I guess posting closer to post time is a better way to go since as we all know that even though we may cap a whole card we don't end up playing all of them when payoffs are simply to low. As to win betting I have posted the way I play several times but not everyday which is my bad. For the record I bet the 2 best odds horses in my top 3 splitting the bet 60% on the low odds horse and 40% on the high odds horse with 5/2 being the lowest acceptable odds. Anything less then that no bet. Once again thanks for the comments.
