Kentucky Downs Cancels, Reschedules Races
Kentucky Downs cancelled its final eight races Sept. 10 after jockeys decided not to ride on a rain-softened turf course they felt was unsafe.

I tried calling, but they're hedging their bets. If it stays like it is now (overcast) then they expect Saturday to run as scheduled. If there's thunderstorms, then "of course they have to protect the jockeys and the horses".

Personally, I think much depends on if they get more rain (and how much) between now and late morning.

Forecasts vary, from overcast today and chance of thunderstorms tomorrow, to 60% chance of chance of thunderstorms today (after 2:15p) and 36 to 49% chance of precip Saturday afternoon.

Overnight there seems to be lower chance of precip, like 10 - 20%.

They are racing tomorrow.

Or not.
