got lucky listening to the show yesterday or monday

dont know who the guy was but he called in and was very ewell spoken and told steve that he was flying in to see his horse run on wendsday
steve automaticly presummed he would partake in the travers weekend and he said no we are flying out the next day

for some crazy reason it put a red flag up for me
why wouldnt this guy stay for the weekend and enjoy something thats going to be aspecial?

no i thought hes just here for his horse

so i bet it outstanding art
20 win and place
5 dollar double wheel 7 with all
5 ex wheel 7 all

crazy the horse won like it was meant to
payed 50 to win

steve talked about a horse at delmar today on show so i bet 100 win place on globel view

and my final bet is 7th at saratoga 50 win place mr rosential
and 20 bob 1-6-7

Congrats! 'The guy' was owner/breeder Del Pettigrew from Nebraska who has been a listener/caller for the 10 years ATR has been on the air. He and wife Martha are working artists who breed 2-3 horses a year and usually have 1-2 in training at any time. Delighted for them winning at Saratoga at first asking with Outsider Art at 24-1. Seth Merrow reminded everyone again yesterday of Del's call when on with me and many listeners scored with the $50 winner.

Details on Global View delivered by Tom Proctor Tuesday and he and DVD got a strong dirt try from him.. Looked like a winner before the bigger price horse came calling late.

Steve,
No mention of third race betting in your ATR Saratoga recap this morning. Not worth discussing, your thoughts?

Because a state-bred MSW to MCLM dropper took money and won? Five horses between $7-11.. Horse had steam around the track plus a good Clocker note on blowout after the aborted first start. I don't get too worked up about things like this.

That's fine Steve.. The horse was 50/1(guess he wasn't working well for clockers?) in his first start tossed the rider, shows up next and nothing less then a betting coup takes place, as illustrated by Eddie D on twitter. I get the not bitching, which is fair if that's your fare, as we are all gambling and have different hot buttons. BUT that's a good ole fashion put-over, repping it as anything but doesn't flatter how exquisitely in was executed. Kudos to the whole Martin barn!!!

What price should the horse have been in the MSW with the $840,000 Linda Rice/Lady Shiela runner, the Clement Malibu Moon favorite, the Jerkens 2nd time starter, etc.?

15/1 and a complete toss.. Dont focus on the 9/2 final odds thats a joke in itself focus on the huge inflow of money that hammered the horse in every pool . THEY DESTROYED THE WINDOW "they" bet not the public. It's OK it's happened forever and will happen again, its not even criminal but it certainly was a delicious Put Over... IF you knew.
