Work, pac, advice
Ok...where i work, theyve decided to get involved a bit in politics. The type of work we do can be affected by pols, appointed commissioners....
so, at a meeting today...the company decided to ask if employees would be interested in contributing. Its purely voluntary. i am uncomfortsble with this for several reasons. one, i dont think you should have to pay to be heard or speak your mind. two, just because a candidate might agree on my companies position on something, doesnt mean overall hes a good candidate or someone i'd support at all. If anyone has some words of wisdom, please, chime in |
I would contribute, and just forget about it. Union bosses have been asking their workers for "voluntary contributions" for decades.
