Pletcher's Horses in BC

Pletcher said he plans to pre-enter 14 horses to the Breeders' Cup, with four possible. The definites for the Distaff are Fleet Indian, Pool Land, and Spun Sugar. The definites for the Juvenile are Circular Quay, King of the Roxy, and Scat Daddy. The definites for the Juvenile Fillies are Cotton Blossom, Featherbed, and Octave. The definites for the turf are English Channel and Icy Atlantic. And the definites for the Filly and Mare Turf are Honey Ryder, Quiet Royal, and Wait a While.

In addition to Friendly Island, Pletcher's possible runners include Awesome Ashley for the Juvenile Fillies, and Flower Alley and Lawyer Ron for the Classic.

Flower Alley is a maybe, cause does not have enough funds. If there is 14 horses entered Flower Alley will not go. Anything under 14 and Flower Alley is in

Only the top seven are chosen via points. The last seven are solely at the discretion of the committee. Flower Alley will probably get selected on the basis of his second place finish last year even if 20 horses enter.

That would be incredible. Amazing that he doesn't have a confirmed starter in the BCC with the stable his has.

Obviously, his best shot is in the BC juvy. English Channel and Wait a While both have opportunities as well, but I haven't seen anything I like in his stable of 2-yo fillies.
